General Motors India started
its Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Chevrolet Enjoy on Wednesday. The cost of the
new car begins at Rs.5.49 lakh for its base petrol model Enjoy LS.
Initially called the
Wuling Enjoy MPV, Chevrolet
Enjoy is likley to give an intense rivalry to Mahindra Xylo and Tata
Winger.
The car is apparently
fueled by a 1.3-litre multi-plane engine from FIAT and likewise brags of 175/65
R14 tyres, made for the Indian ways.
It will have the choices
of a 1.4 Liter characteristically suctioned petrol engine useful for 104
Bhp-130 Nm and a 1.3 Liter turbo diesel engine handy for 77 Bhp of top force
and 190 Nm of crest torque.
The new Chevrolet car has
a 5-rate manual gearbox, the top finish model of the Chevrolet Enjoy will
accompany ABS, Twin Airbags, top mounted AC vents, skipper seats and charging
focus for the third line.
Appreciate is one of
Chevrolet India's three items obtained from China's GM-SAIC joint wander.
Identifying with media
persons, Sastry Vempati, VP, item arranging, General Motors India, said that
Sail Sedan, the first launch of the year and the MPV might help provincial
market and create the organization as a key contender.
The model was apparently a
success in the Chinese market, where it is reputed to be the Wuling Hongguang
and outside China as the Chevrolet Cn100.
